Women Offshore introduces Aweigh-Fitness; a premier health and wellness provider for the maritime and offshore energy industries.

Aweigh-Fitness was founded by two women who work offshore on ultra-deepwater drillships, Brigitte Hagen-Peter and Patricia Malagrino.  From meal plans and fitness programs to relaxation techniques and massages – their fitness team works with HR departments, yacht managers, brokers, and captains to create successful wellness programs.

EDUCATE. EMPOWER. ENCOURAGE.

Brigitte and Patricia are certified fitness trainers, nutritionists and sports massage therapists, ready to get clients healthy and fit for duty.  Their mission:  Educate, empower, and encourage individuals to take control of their own health and wellness.

It’s no secret that working offshore is demanding work for both the body and mind.  Due to the continued increase in USCG and flag state medical requirements, the need for a health and wellness company is vital to aid in helping the employees meet those medical requirements, inevitably, ensuring their focus and safety while on the job. Aweigh-Fitness guides maritime professionals on how to be able to meet the demands of working in the field, using the advantage of both practicing and living a healthy lifestyle.

Women Offshore is proud to announce that Aweigh-Fitness representatives will share some of their guidance with our members, in a series of articles, over the next coming months. Come back soon for their upcoming features!

SAIL. SQUAT. SWEAT.
