When my husband, Kent, got certified as a personal trainer, I naturally started asking him to create workouts for me. This is what ultimately led to us establishing True Grit Fitness.  Kent created an extensive library of workouts that we thought others could benefit from such a workout program that could be done anywhere.  

No Equipment Needed…

Part of what makes this routine, an excerpt from our Resolution.12 Trainer, the perfect workout for doing on board a ship or platform, is that there is no equipment needed for completing it successfully. On my rig, we have a huge gym that is well-equipped.  But, I’ve seen gyms on ships over the years that had minimal equipment, and have even resorted to working out in my stateroom.  Times like that are when a circuit routine like this, is perfect for getting your heart rate up, burning calories, and toning the targeted muscle groups.

Simple and effective…

The beauty of a circuit workout is that it’s quick, you can fit it into the time you have or complete as many rounds as you want.  Each exercise is designed to be done immediately after the previous one, with no rest in between.  Push yourself and you’ll be amazed at how effective such a simple workout can be!
