1015 – 1115  “The Neuroscience of Leadership,” with Dr Jason Jones, Founder & CEO of LeaderPath

Neuroscience has entered the world of leadership with data and application that is as enlightening as it is interesting. The great leaders of the future will be those who understand how to leverage the power source of human thinking and behavior — the brain. Utilizing recent scientific discoveries, leaders will learn how to activate more of the brain which can lead to higher levels of motivation, engagement, loyalty, safety, and performance.

Dr Jones will provide attendees with valuable insights into the power of the brain and its impact on thinking and purposeful action. With over 20 years of hands-on experience at sea and ashore, Jenny Johnson is a respected advocate for a diverse, inclusive, and safe career in offshore industries. Having personally encountered gender-based challenges, she brings her valuable firsthand knowledge to create awareness and drive change in offshore environments. Jenny firmly believes that everyone, regardless of gender, should have equal opportunities to pursue rewarding careers offshore, and all workplaces should foster an environment that respects and appreciates diverse talents.

During this workshop, organizations will gain practical strategies and tools for implementing systemic changes and establishing guardrails to address biases in evaluation and promotion processes. Jenny deep understanding of the unique dynamics in offshore environments will guide participants in building fair and unbiased systems that promote gender balance and create an inclusive professional atmosphere.
