Career Day will take place virtually, May 6th. Attendees will be able to access the online event platform a week in advance. All presentations and panels will be recorded and available on the platform for 30 days after the event ends.

1045 – 1145  Opening Keynote Speaker, Jennifer Boykin, President, Newport News Shipyard
Jennifer Boykin is president of Newport News Shipbuilding and executive vice president of Huntington Ingalls Industries in Newport News, Virginia. Named to this position in 2017, she is the 20th person and the first woman to serve as president of the Newport News shipyard, which was founded in 1886 and has approximately $4 billion in annual revenues. She will kick off the Women Offshore Virtual Career Day with a passionate talk about the importance of the maritime industry.

    Maybe you are ready for a shore side job in the Maritime Industry or other industries where your knowledge and experience is valuable. Meet people who can tell you how they have done it.

1430 – 1600  Networking Break

1600 – 1615  Giveaway & Closing Comments by Ally Cedeno, Founder and President, and Cassi Laskowski, Executive Director Please join Ally Cedeno, Women Offshore’s Founder and President, and Cassi Laskowski, the Executive Director, for closing comments! They will also announce the leadership board winners and prizes!
