About Our Board of directors
The Women Offshore Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our board consists of experienced professionals from the maritime and offshore energy industries or they have non-profit board experience. Board members work together to fulfill our mission to propel women+ into meaningful careers through access to a worldwide community and professional development resources, while raising awareness amongst industry leaders and decision makers about issues affecting women on the water. Women Offshore leadership further serves the maritime industry as members of the Ship Operations Cooperative Program (SOCP). The SOCP is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit and nonpartisan member-driven organization of industry leaders to promote and improve the maritime industry through collaboration, facilitation, recommendation, and innovation.
