Your Inner Compass: Navigating Career Success Through Self-Awareness
A Collective Study on the Strengths, Risks, and Motivators of Women Offshore
Women Offshore invites you to participate in a groundbreaking research project designed to explore the core traits that influence career success in maritime and offshore industries. This project is part of a featured session at our 2025 Annual Conference.
By completing the CDR 3-D Suite (True Talent Profile) assessment, you’ll be part of a collective study that uncovers the strengths, risk factors, and motivations that shape how women thrive in offshore environments.
Why This Matters
Self-awareness is a critical—but often overlooked—foundation for long-term success. Too often, professionals end up in roles that drain their energy or limit their potential. Through this research, we aim to develop a clearer picture of what “career fit” really means for women offshore—and how organizations and individuals can better align talent with opportunity.
We’re partnering with CDR Companies to offer the CDR 3-D Suite, a leading assessment used by Fortune 500 companies, leadership programs, and talent development initiatives. This suite explores:
- Strengths: What you do best
- Risk Factors: Behaviors under stress
- Motivators: What fuels your energy and purpose
- A deeper understanding of your unique talent profile.
- Insights into how your inner drivers affect your career path.
- You may also choose to connect with a certified True Talent Coach for personalized feedback on your results.
- An opportunity to contribute to a first-of-its-kind group research project shaping the future of women offshore
- What am I signing up for?
You’re signing up to take the CDR Character Assessment, an online tool that takes about 30–45 minutes. Your results will help build a database of mariner profiles, exploring traits, motivations, and even how we respond under stress. - How will this help the industry?
The goal is to identify the traits of successful mariners. This can guide recruitment and help new entrants see if they’re a good fit. CDR’s method is proven across multiple industries. - Will my data be kept confidential?
Yes. Your name and personal information will be removed. Your data stays in CDR’s secure database and is only accessible for your personal review with a coach.- Can I see my results? Yes, but the assessment requires a debrief. You have two options:
- Live Coaching: Contact Christine MacMillan for a 1:1 session.
- Digital Avatar Coach: Try the CDR-U True Talent Coach — a special $400 offer is available here: Link
- Where can I learn more about CDR Assessment Group?
Visit their website: www.cdrassessmentgroup.com - Who can take the assessment?
Anyone with offshore experience — past or present — is welcome. We’re looking for a broad range of participants to better understand the mariner profile. All are welcome; no discrimination.
