Your Support is Needed to Empower Careers on the Water
We are making waves. The Women Offshore Foundation is dedicated to empowering women+ by providing them with access to a global community and valuable professional development resources. Simultaneously, we’re raising awareness among industry leaders and decision-makers about the challenges faced by women in maritime professions.
Through the Women Offshore Career Development Program, we not only help women+ launch their careers in maritime industries, but also support them in pursuing their career aspirations. From 2022-2023, we opened the program to the public, and we’re thrilled to share the results: 36 candidates collaborated closely with our program coordinator to kickstart their careers in water-based industries. We successfully placed 11 individuals in offshore positions with leading maritime companies, and we proudly awarded $21,000 in scholarships to further support their journeys!
