Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in a maritime program and actively pursuing a career in the maritime or offshore industry.
When does the application open?
Applications open February 1. Submission deadlines will be posted on the application page.
Do I need to be affiliated with Women Offshore to apply?
No. Membership is not required, but applicants should be able to articulate how they connect with or align with Women Offshore’s mission.
How will the scholarship funds be used?
Funds will be applied toward sea term expenses.
Is the headshot required?
Yes. A headshot is required for marketing and storytelling purposes only and will not be used as part of the selection criteria.
What is the Financial Release Form?
The Financial Release Form is required to ensure proper use and reporting of scholarship funds. Applications without this form will not be considered.
How are recipients selected?
Applicants are evaluated based on their goals, alignment with Women Offshore’s mission, demonstrated need, and overall application completeness.
