As a Dispatch/Warehouse Support Intern, you will coordinate, track, and monitor movement of trucks and freight between port facilities, local port agencies, pack agents, ocean terminals, warehouses and railroad ramps by directing pickup and delivery activities of drivers.  You’ll learn about the daily scheduling of company drivers and sub-contractors and track and monitor traffic movements to and from destinations.   You’ll ensure accurate data entry and generate reports on time, while learning and working to resolve non-conformity issues. You will also handle various clerical and administrative tasks and projects under direct supervision and guidance. Goals & Objectives: Follow instructions to execute assigned tasks within required parameters and timeframes. Ask questions and seek clarification as needed. Duties & Responsibilities: Complete various clerical tasks, including filing, data entry, document scanning and processing, organizing of files and materials, and assembly/collation of mailings, presentation materials, and information packets. May assist with phone and email correspondence and inquiries, research, and related tasks. May assist with data audit and reconciliation. May assist with distribution of supplies, mail, and/or other light materials. May assist with event planning and preparation. Other duties as assigned Education, Experience & Certification Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
