Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare, process, and maintain documentation related to domestic and international shipments, including coordinating the pick-up and delivery of cargo to and from customers.

• Assist the Sea-Logix, LLC Dispatcher in various areas incidental to dispatch.
• Work with various ports and terminals resolving issues related to Sea-Logix, LLC.
• Coordinate pick-up and delivery of third-party equipment.
• Prepare documentation, monitor inventory, aging and demurrage of third-party equipment and facilitate the return of equipment to various ports.
• Maintain and coordinate mandated RFID tags for Sea-Logix, LLC trucks.
• Process mail for pickup runs postage for standard USPS mail, creates waybills for Fed-Ex service, coordinates pick-up for UPS service.
• Receive and distribute all inbound and mail and parcels from USPS, Fed-Ex, UPS, etc.
• Examine, record, and input Haz Documentation.
• Update dispatch systems, as required.

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Required Work Experience

• 1+ years of related experience in dispatching and line haul carriage operations preferred.

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
