Recognizing Changemakers in Offshore and Maritime
The Women Offshore Annual Conference is just around the corner, and with it comes one of our favorite traditions, the Wave Maker Awards. These awards shine a light on individuals making a real difference in our industry today and those who will shape it tomorrow.

About the Wave Maker Awards
The Wave Maker Awards recognize individuals who lift others up, lead by example, and create positive change in the maritime and offshore energy industries. There are two categories to choose from:
- Wave Maker Award – The Wave Maker Award honors someone who is making a big impact in the maritime and offshore energy industries. This person leads by example, supports those around them, and works to strengthen the industry through their actions. Their leadership leaves a lasting impact on the people they work with and the wider community.
- Horizon Award – The Horizon Award, previously known as the Young Professional Award, recognizes students, cadets, or professionals with less than 5 years of work experience who are already making an impact. The receipient demonstrates initiative to support and encourage their peers, contributing to a stronger community on the water. This award shines a light on the future of our workforce.
