Sexual assault, rape, and sexual harassment don’t just exist in one region, sector, industry, academy, or organization. SASH knows no gender or even flag state.

As the first episode of our sexual assault and sexual harassment mini-series in 2022, Episode 94 of the Women Offshore Podcast shines light on a #metoo story from yachting.

Stories similar to this one exist in our community across different types of vessels, not just yachts. Listen closely to their words. Ask yourself, what can you do in the industry to prevent sexual assault and harassment at sea?

It is up to all of us across the globe to make a difference and speak up for our shipmates and against unwanted behavior onboard. Our hope is that this episode sparks the right conversations to move us closer to that goal.
