“From classroom to crew: Samantha McCririck’s journey to yachting & yoga”

On this episode of the Women Offshore Podcast, we welcome Samantha McCririck, Chief Stewardess, aboard the charter yacht Unbridled. Originally from Newcastle, Australia, Samantha grew up with a deep connection to the ocean, spending her childhood surfing, snorkeling, and exploring the outdoors.

Her career began in hospitality at just 16, gaining experience in fine dining and event planning while pursuing a degree in Primary School Teaching. After spending seven years as an educator in London, Samantha sought a new challenge—one that would combine her love for the ocean with her passion for hospitality. This led her to the world of luxury yachting, where she traded the classroom for life on the water, working with both guests and crew to deliver world-class service.

As a Chief Stewardess, Samantha draws on her background in fine dining, education, and leadership to create unforgettable experiences at sea. She has also expanded her expertise by becoming a certified Dive Master and Yoga Instructor, bringing wellness and adventure to life on board.
