Conversations around Motherhood continue on the Podcast.
Episodes 52-57 of the Women Offshore Podcast were all about motherhood with Jais Curry, the director of community outreach. Now she is back with another episode. This time she speaks with Diana Ormond, founder of Polaris Lactation about how to manage lactation while offshore. In this episode, get to know Diana and her advice for those working in remote work environments away from their babies.
“I’m Diana Ormond, a Kings Point graduate, Second Assistant Engineer, and a LT in the US Navy Reserves. Among the many other hats I wear, I’m a mother of one and I’m also a Certified Lactation Counselor. I started my own lactation counseling private practice, Polaris Lactation, to empower families to make evidence-based, informed choices when it comes to infant feeding. I’m passionate about helping those in the military and maritime industries, where understanding, help and support are often significantly lacking.”
