Hear from Captain Sandy Yawn at the Women Offshore Virtual Conference

A Fort Lauderdale native with over three decades of yachting experience under her belt, Captain Sandy Yawn knew she wanted her career to revolve around the ocean from a very young age and was not discouraged when she discovered yachting to be a male-dominated field.

Captain Sandy’s integrity and courage have earned her recognition from the International Superyacht Society, who bestowed upon her the prestigious Distinguished Crew Award for her bravery in the midst of a catastrophic fire and pirate threat that occurred in 2006 off the coast of Yemen.

You may be familiar with Captain Sandy, since she is a star on Bravo’s hit series Below Deck Mediterranean. Now in her fifth season with the show, Captain Sandy is renowned as a powerful female role model and one of the network’s most universally beloved personalities.

To kick off the second day of the Women Offshore Conference, October 9th, hear from Captain Sandy. Her personal message will encourage you to take chances and go after your career dreams, despite any naysayers.
