The Washington State Ferry (WSF) a Division of the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Communication Consultant 3. As a member of the Washington State Ferries communications team, this position will be regularly called upon to create and write internal and external communications content for a variety of platforms, shoot and edit video, respond to the public, monitor and interact with the news media, technical support to webinars, serve as lead for division’s social media accounts, plan and assist with events, and serve as the main support role assisting other team members. This individual is also the lead organizer of WSF’s public tours and speaker request programs. Occasionally, this position must also carry an on-call phone and serve as a 24/7 spokesperson for WSF.
