Today, let’s learn from a woman who blazed a trail in subsea engineering.

Christina Johansen is the senior vice president of product management at TechnipFMC. She is responsible for subsea product/service lines and marketing strategies globally. Christina is a leader and has climbed the corporates ladder at TechnipFMC, since starting as a project engineer in 1997 after graduating from Rice University.

Christina recently shared on Linkedin to celebrate International Women’s Engineers Day, “I fell in love with the sea and offshore construction right out of school. Here I am offshore on my first trip [pictured above], September 1997. 😆 It’s been a fantastic journey and to all the young lady engineers out there- engineering opens so many doors, it only gets better.”

On the Women Offshore Podcast, hear from Christina and learn from her wisdom as she shares her career of almost 25 years. Christina opens up about what she is most passionate; how she overcomes challenges in the workplace, especially when she is the only woman on board or in the board room; and what it takes to get more women into senior level positions, revealing if there is a secret to make it to the top.
