At the upcoming Women Offshore Conference, the Wave Maker Award will acknowledge someone in the Women Offshore Community for pursuing their career dreams, while supporting others in the industry. A winner will be announced at our virtual conference on October 14th and will receive an award and a special gift from the Women Offshore Foundation!

Previous Wave Maker Award winners include, Chief Engineer Angela Bueno (2021); Captain Makhosi Mbokazi (2020); and Captain Sherri Hickman, Delfina Govia, Janelle Daniel, and Captain Jaquelyn Burton (2019). They were all recognized by Women Offshore’s leadership for their incredible contributions to the industry, both personally and professionally.
