The Washington State Ferry (WSF) system is an essential part of Washington's transportation network, linking communities on both sides of Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands. There are over 400 sailings each day on 9 ferry routes. WSF transports nearly 24 million passengers a year and has more than 1,600 employees. Employees perform a variety of duties on vessels, in terminals, at the maintenance facility, and at the Seattle headquarters.

The Washington State Ferries (WSF) a division of the Washington State Department of Transportation is currently seeking a Marine Journeyperson Pipefitter to perform marine pipefitting work by Federal, State, and US Coast Guard regulations. This position supports Eagle Harbor Maintenance Facility in its mission to provide preventive maintenance and emergency repair for ferry vessels and terminals.
