The Washington State Ferry (WSF) a Division of the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Shipwright Carpenter to perform work on Vessels and Terminals, commercial buildings, and docks/piling work. In this position, you will construct staging, shoring, temporary supports, stairways, ladders, and other wooden structures on Vessels, and Terminals. You will also construct, alter, remodel, and repair Terminal building additions, passenger waiting areas, offices, storage buildings, fencing, railings, barriers, decking, concrete, traffic arms, and other terminal buildings from blueprints, plans, or sketches.
This position provides support to other shops with wood cribbing, crating, and cover-up.
