Meet Julia Hedderson

In episode 106, Ally chats with Julia Hedderson, a Project Manager for Subsea Projects in the Gulf of Mexico with TechnipFMC. Julia has been in Oil and Gas since 2007 when she started interning with TechnipFMC during her Mechanical Engineering Degree program at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. Upon her graduation in 2009, Julia moved to Houston and started her full-time career as an Installation Engineering at TechnipFMC supporting major oil and gas customers in the Gulf of Mexico.

Julia spent 3.5 years working offshore, installing, commissioning, and servicing subsea production system equipment and has been in various roles within the company such as Front End Field Development Engineering, Account Management for Drilling, and Subsea Services. Julia is also an active member of the WEN Mentoring Program and is on the board of her company’s Empower Women’s Network.
