Save the date for the 10th Annual Women on the Water Conference, hosted by Maine Maritime Academy in partnership with the Maritime Administration, on November 1-3, 2018.

Coming up later this year at Maine Maritime Academy is the 10th Annual Women on the Water Conference. Whether you’re licensed, unlicensed, an experienced mariner, or just starting your career, attendees will have opportunities at this 3-day event to meet with and learn from industry leaders, maritime professionals, and academy representatives. This conference is a great networking opportunity for female mariners at all stages of their careers.

Maine Maritime Academy is located in the village of Castine, a picturesque town that overlooks the harbor and nearby islands on the Maine coast. The conference will officially begin with a welcome reception on Thursday, November 1st at 5:30 pm and end with a breakfast speaker on Saturday, November 3rd. An optional excursion to nearby Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor is planned for the remainder of the day on Saturday. More details will be posted as speakers and workshops are finalized.

Registration will open on Maine Maritime’s website on August 1, 2018. Some lodging will be available on campus. Reservations can be made now by calling Conference Services at 207-326-2283 or email Rachael Iannoli.
