Keynote Speaker, the Honorable Sally Jewell
The USCG Networking Luncheon is not only an event to meet women in the industry, but also an opportunity to learn from the Honorable Sally Jewell, a British-American politician and businessperson who served as the 51st United States Secretary of the Interior in the administration of President Barack Obama.
Jewell began her career as an engineer working in the oil industry before transitioning into banking. In 1996, she began working for REI, a Seattle-based retailer of outdoor gear, eventually becoming the company’s chief operating officer, then CEO.
